What is Google autocomplete?
As you type, autocomplete predicts and displays queries to choose from. The search queries that you see as part of autocomplete are a reflection of the search activity of all web users and the content of web pages indexed by Google.
In other words it’s like a peak into our thoughts.
And when you Google women shouldn’t or women can’t, autocomplete tells us something pretty interesting (and in this case, wrong) about our questions and searches. Some recent ad’s by UN Women highlight some of these REAL searches.
