BETTER WORLD DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE

Various Keytags is an online store for design-minded people who enjoy organization, happiness, and fun. It was born out of a sense of humor and the sheer necessity of finding a simple key tag that isn’t too fussy. They give us constant joy; they are useful; they make great gifts; and we have been astonished by the overwhelmingly positive response to them by so many different people! So much so that we decided to make an entire website dedicated solely to Various Keytags

It’s like a fortune without the cookie on a key chain! Never in my life would I have thought a key chain could be cool…Until now.

Tikker, The Happiness Watch

Tikker, is the death watch that counts down your life.

Although it sounds a bit morbid, it actually serves the exact opposite purpose by making you more aware of the time you have on this earth and therefore allowing you to value each second, minute, hour, and year of your life that much more.

Here’s what the makers say:

IMAGINE SOMEONE TOLD YOU that you only had 1 year left to live. How would that change your life?

For all of us life comes with a best before date, and one day we’ll find ourselves at the end of the line. Gee, you’re thinking, this is really depressing!

BUT, WAIT, there’s good news too!

While death is nonnegotiable, life isn’t. The good news is that life is what you make of it – and it can be beautiful!

All we have to do is learn how to cherish the time and the life that we have been given, to honor it, suck the marrow from it, seize the day and follow our hearts. And the best way to do this is to realize that seconds, days and years are passing never to come again. And to make the right choices.

Anger or forgiveness? Tic-toc. Wearing a frown or a smile? Tic-toc. Happy or upset? Tic-toc.

THAT’S WHY WE’VE CREATED Tikker, the death watch that counts down your life, just so you can make every second count.

Tikker is a wrist watch that counts down your life from years to seconds, and motivates you to make the right choices. Tikker will be there to remind you to make most of your life, and most importantly, to be happy.

REMEMBER, IT’S NOT REALLY about how much time you HAVE, it’s what you DO with it. A week spent in love and happiness can be worth more than years spent in agony. Wearing a Tikker is a statement to the world that your biggest priority in life, is living.

So please help us help you do that, and have the time of your life with Tikker, the death watch that makes every second count.

And as if that’s not all, Tikker also shows you the time!

“My favorite things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.”– Steve Jobs

To he/she who got me for secret santa this year, you know what to get me ; ) I know we set a $20 limit but who’s counting?!

The NoPhone

Project image

This NoPhone made me laugh. Boasting itself as a technology free alternative to constant hand to phone contact that allows you to stay connected to the real world.

The testimonials are even funnier:

“I used to sleep with my phone in my hand, but my night terrors would cause me to hurl it across the room in an unconscious panic. With the NoPhone, I can still enjoy the comfort of holding a phone in my sleep, without waking up to a shattered screen. Thanks, NoPhone.” -David H

“With the NoPhone, my eye contact skills have improved 73%.” -Whitney R

“Because of the NoPhone, I haven’t drunk texted my ex boyfriend in one whole week.” -Craig G

“Not a real phone.” -Katie A

Here’s what the makers say in their own words:

“Phone addiction is real. And it’s everywhere. It’s ruining your dates. It’s distracting you at concerts. It’s disrupting you in movie theaters. It’s clogging up sidewalks. Now, there is a real solution.

Introducing the NoPhone, a technology-free alternative to constant hand-to-phone contact.

With a thin, light and completely wireless design, the NoPhone acts as a surrogate to any smart mobile device, enabling you to always have a rectangle of smooth, cold plastic to clutch without forgoing any potential engagement with your direct environment. Never again experience the unsettling feeling of flesh on flesh when closing your hand.

How it Works

Pick it up. Hold it.”

You can help support the NoPhone project by backing them on Kickstarter HERE.

NoPhone. Heck YES.

Toy inventor, Dan Abramson, turns the classic green army toy soldiers into yogi’s. Each soldier demonstrates the proper posture for their yoga pose. Abramson explains  “I made Yoga Joes because I thought that it would be a fun way to get more people into yoga – especially dudes. Beyond that, I wanted to make a violent toy become peaceful.”

Yoga and peace.

Count this hippie baby in!
