I discovered PostSecret at a book store in Disney World several years ago and it was love at first sight.
For those that don’t know PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard.
They’ve recently launched the new project PostSecret: Out Loud
Lend your voice to the PostSecret: Out Loud project.
“Often, the simple act of speaking something out loud can help us to release a weight that we carry around inside. By lending our voices, we can help inspire others, who may be shouldering a similar burden, to release the secrets that weigh them down.”
PostSecret: Out Loud is an ongoing video art project that features actual secrets spoken by real people. If you would like to take part, you can anonymously record a secret using your computer’s microphone by following the link below. If you’d prefer, you can also record secrets by voicemail or send them as email attachments.
Selected secrets will be paired with visuals and released through PostSecret.
